The capacity to accept or tolerate, delay trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset.
Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer…Romans 12:12
Oh! Buddy! Patience, is one none of us like, myself in particular.
Old Mr. Webster clearly did not have a family that didn’t know how to replace the toilet paper roll when he wrote this one. Nor did he understand the sheer strength & willpower it would take us to accept, tolerate, or delay in this time of frustration & trouble. Then, to make matters worse… He added, “don’t get angry or upset”!
My patience are running out with Mr. Webster just thinking about this.
Luckily, for this week’s challenge, God has shown us how to accomplish this in three seemingly simple ways. One, we need to constantly be in prayer. Two, we should be rejoicing in hope; which three, will allow us to be patient in times of tribulation.
At the time being, you may not have to worry about your family changing out the toilet paper, but rest assured, there will be tribulations that will try your patience…Just remember, to Pray & Rejoice in Hope 🕊
