Boy! Howdy! Is this one hard for us all, or what? We know what we should do & yet we put it off…& don’t let it be something we’re dreading or something we just don’t feel like doing, because then it may never happen.
The world has made us believe that Diligence is hard. That somehow Diligence equals perfection. But, it isn’t supposed to be hard.
That’s why I love what Ecclesiastes has to say about Diligence. It doesn’t say, to do it at the same time every day or week, that it has to be perfect, or even that it has to be done the same way. It simply says, to do it with all your might or to the best of your ability.
So, cut yourself some slack. Don’t worry about it being perfect, doing things at the exact same time, or in the exact same way. Just make sure you’re being Diligent in your intentions & in your might.
Rest assured, God will be Diligent of the rest 🕊
