Are you looking for an interesting or cool accessory for your family room?…But don’t really want to put a ton of money into it? Well, I have the perfect idea for y’all & I bet you already have most everything you need.
Summer is slipping into the sunset & you may be finding yourself with an abundance of seashells, sand, & maybe even some sea glass or a shark’s tooth. Don’t just toss or pack these beautiful memories away.
Instead use them to create some conversation pieces. They will not only remind you of your adventures, but they’ll also give you the opportunity to tell your guests all about the amazing places you found your treasures in.
All you need are several small clear bottles in various shapes & sizes, with corks. Grab some labels or hang tags, a little bakers twine if you’re using hang tags, & a pen or marker that will contrast your tags.
Now for the fun part! Fill each bottle with a different element. Only want one jar per adventure? Then, layer the elements for a different look. Once you’ve filled your jar put a cork in it, label that bugger, & you’re done! Place them on a bookshelf or anywhere you want to be reminded of warmer days🌴
